It's the anticipation of exploring other cultures, looking for adventure and just leaving your everyday life behind. You get to the airport and head towards your departure gate, ready for take off... that is THE best feeling! We call ourselves Gate58, sharing travel photography of images captured from around the world by award winning photographer Amee Reehal.
As a couple shopping for artwork for our own home, we noticed that there was a gap in the market for residential artwork that was fresh and not massed produced. With Amee being a Photographer and Joanne being an Interior Designer, we put our creative heads together and came up with Gate58.
May be you'll see some familiar places or may be we will be introducing you to new ones. We hope you enjoy the art as much as we did putting it together!

Amee Reehal
With a Degree in Marketing, Amee pursued his talent in Photography and started Image in Motion Inc. in 2000 as a Freelance Photographer with Automotive Photography as his niche along with Lifestyle Photography (www.ameereehal.com). He has since been published and featured in magazines throughout Canada, U.S.A. and Europe. As a member of AJAC, his award winning images have been enjoyed over the years by automotive and motorbike enthusiasts. But, his personal passion for travel has allowed him to capture images in the journalistic style that shares the ruggedness and the beauty of the bigger world out there.

Joanne Reehal
As an Interior Designer since 1997, Joanne has been passionate about Amee's photography over the years and felt that his personal collection of travel photography could be shared with everyone in the form of art and not just his automotive work. With Gate58, Joanne has creative input for upcoming photographs yet to be taken based on current trends and feedback from her clients. She has an eye for spaces and how images and colors should fit within them.
Travel is always in our future and we don't ever plan on stopping, so keep coming back to check us out for new artwork...
